2024 will mark the 21st edition of the Tour de Bowness. On Saturday, watch the cyclists from many great viewing points along the road course just outside of Cochrane.


On Sunday , we will have having a hill climb on MacKay Road in Montgomery during the day, this years event will have a small twist ensuring the fastest will go up against each other for the title. On Monday, visit beautiful Bowness to see the racers tackle the challenging 7 turn Cory Meza Memorial Criterium!

We are delighted to announce the 3rd Annual INCREDIBLE INDIA FEST on August 3, 2024, a celebration of the rich culture, diversity and traditions of India. This festival promises to be a spectacular event that showcases the beauty, vibrancy and uniqueness of INDIA.


The INCREDIBLE INDIA FEST will feature cultural performances, vendors, live music, traditional singing and dance, a range of activities for kids and authentic food stalls. Visitors will get a chance to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of India and experrience its diverse traditions firsthand.


The festival will take place at the WESTIN CALGARY AIRPORT from 12-6pm and we invite everyone to join us for a memorable experience. This workshop is free and accessible for all ages and skills, including those who think they can’t draw stick figures. We will be using safe and easy-to-clean materials to carve the foam and make the prints. There will be foam already carved for those who just want to focus on printing. It will be a form of relief carving, and if you don’t know what that term means, that is fine; It won’t hold you back from making beautiful prints. The main materials we will be working with are foam, paper, pens, markers, a sponge, and a smidgen of water.


Once your prints are done, you can take them home, keep them, gift them, or put them in the “windowpane” of Celebrating our Backyard”

Tango 2 Echo Fest is a BIA-initiated business and community event that aims to activate the Greenview Industrial Area, located in the T2E postal district in Calgary, and to showcase GIBIA businesses (among some others) while also fundraising for a local BIA charity – Fresh Start.


This year we are bringing back Rides and Rods and the Greenview Block Party to create a big, engaging, and family-friendly festival Tango 2 Echo. In addition to the parked car show boasting 150+ classic rides, hot rods, and sports compacts, we will be hosting a business and art market, a community art installation tour, live music, food and beverages, family-friendly events, and a fundraiser. BUMP self-guided mural tours are a perfect way to explore the murals and experience new works of art as they are being created right before your eyes. New tours will be released throughout the month of August.


The Beltline Urban Mural Project (BUMP) is a program that funds and installs art on buildings in the Beltline. Artists are selected through a proposal process, and any building owner can apply to be part of the project. BUMP launched in 2017, with four murals installed by four local artists.
